He imbibed the prosperity gospel of Dr Norman Vincent Peale when he was young. After he absorbed all of that heresy he put 'church' behind him and turned to the likes of Roy Cohn for spiritual succor.

Trump is the exact opposite of a bible-based Christian, and like most televangelists preaches the power of the golden calf.
