Uh-huh. That's why doctors and nurses wear them at every surgery, every spinal injection, every birth, even though the doctor and nurse are perfectly healthy.

Just how intimate are you getting with people at the grocery store?

I am simply walking by most people at ours! Certainly not doing anything equivalent to childbirth.

Are we all in fourth grade now? I am about to give up for the day.

I'm making bad jokes and the rest of you are fighting about who's ugly where.

We're hopeless.

You think we can just conjure farts at will?

I don't like it either, but again, it's a matter of public health and masks may be with us until we have a vaccine against COVID-19, whenever that may be. There are worse things, like getting sick. Also, the bright side is that wearing a face mask protects you against other airborne illnesses, like colds and flu.

I just want to make sure we don't make this into any kind of new "normal" that goes on and on out of fear of just one person who might still get sick someplace.

I don't want new normal to be people without faces. This has to be temporary. Let's NOT get used to this.

I don't understand the big deal, face masks are the latest fashion trend. I have some with my favorite sports teams, some with my favorite automobiles, etc. When I leave in the morning I grab my favorite T-shirt to wear for the day, when I go into the garage I grab one of my hats for the day, and I select one of my masks to wear for the day. Once on they aren't noticed anymore than my hat or T-shirt are noticed, I'm no longer conscience of their presence, they don't cause any discomfort. Like wearing glasses, you don't even know you have them on. My family and myself will most likely continue to wear them long after the main part of this pandemic is past. I fully expect a vaccine in the very near future.

The people who refuse to wear them are just trying to show the world how tough they are, "We don't have to follow rules, were tough guys". If they only knew what other people thing of them...
I saw a man with two small children in the grocery store yesterday, probably around 5 or 6, both wearing masks, but not dad, he couldn't be bothered. He probably made the kids wear them so his wife wouldn't kick his behind when he returned home...
