That's right. You just don't understand.

Aside from that, the fact is that most such candidates (decent, younger, thoughtful) want nothing to do with the Democrat party's current push for socialism and big government. Being thoughtful, they have done their homework and have found that such government has never delivered as promised, and has actually wrecked country after country that has tried it.

Even the ones that haven't thought that deeply, can see as plainly as the nose on their face, that normal Americans also don't want it and won't vote for it. Even the big-govt pushers don't want to climb aboard a ship, only to go down with it as it sinks in November.

Much of this change, is the result of President Trump's constant pointing out that (a) Democrats never deliver what they promise, and (b) the media lies about them constantly, building them up as compassionate and caring individuals who really want what's best, and carefully omitting that they have failed to deliver that again and again. President Trump has been constant drumming on those facts, while giving example after example, while the Dems screech in rage, unable to refute him.

This has begun to reveal to normal Americans that they have been duped all along by the media, as well as by the Dem politicians themselves. As a result, normal Americans have been less and less impressed by either the politicians or the media constantly flacking for them, and will vote for them less and less as elections go by.
