We're watching this happen live. The reporter could not have been any more respectful or accommodating. He is also Black and Latino.
Also the white CNN guy was also arrested but the it only showed a flash of him being handcuffed , probably won’t see much of that part when it’s edited again ...
The CBS reporter on scene noted the arrest of the CNN reporter. He also noted that tear gas was shot in their general direction. Usually news crews are given some leeway to be in the area when reporting.
Much of the time they are put into a designated area.
I am not blaming Trump for the arrest, or the rioting, I am blaming him for mocking the Minneapolis folks and PD while this thing is happening. It is not helpful.
