I wonder if he will pardon the shop owner who waxed the guy looting his pawns shop - now looted after the police arrested the looting victim. Where's the outrage over that?
Washington — President Trump on Friday called protesters in Minneapolis "thugs" and vowed that "when the looting starts, the shooting starts." He tweeted after protesters outraged by the death of a black man in police custody torched a police station.
The tweet was quickly flagged by Twitter as "glorifying violence."
It’s a quote from LBJ from during the Riots in the 1960’s.
It’s also true of last night. Shootings in Denver and Louisville. Shootings by the Thug Mob, not by the Police.
Seven people were shot, leaving at least one in critical condition, during a protest Thursday evening in downtown Louisville over the death of Breonna Taylor.
Louisville Metro Police Department spokesperson Alicia Smiley said police made some arrests, but she couldn’t say how many as “the situation is ongoing.” LMPD spokesperson Jessie Halladay said in an email that no officers fired their weapons.
Shots could be heard on live streams of the protest before 11:30 p.m., and a WFPL reporter saw two men injured by gunfire at the northeast corner of Jefferson and Sixth streets. Police officers found the men in the crowd and rendered aid, according to reporter Ryan Van Velzer.
Taylor was killed in March ... last night seemed like a good night to Riot and shoot up the place.

Exactly - "you loot, we shoot" has long been the mantra of the victims of riots. I was with the Koreans in LA for awhile as a journalist in the Rodney King riot. I very nearly waxed a guy beating the door of a MacDonalds in with a baseball bat - as customers held it closed. I have a series of pictures in my office. I made the decision that if he broke through the shattered safety glass I was going to shoot him to protect the people inside. Luckily the safety glass held a few seconds during about six bashes with his bat and he left, and never even saw me taking pictures ten feet away.

Pathetic attempt at deflection. Everyone knows that’s not what he means.

The boy Mayor of Minneapolis said the same thing last night. He ordered the Police to abandon the Police Station, when they burned it (and a dozen other buildings) - he said “it’s only brick and mortar”.
Violent protest and looting is not the answer and should not occur.
However, add inflaming a volatile situation and "glorifying violence" to the list of non protected speech and why us "lessers of people" would get banned on social media for engaging in such practices.
What the US and world needs is a leader who is doing his best to unite divides, calming unease, advocating for lawfulness and providing hope through this very difficult time. Instead, the US is gifted with the opposite type of leader. A divider, an inflamer, a ("liberate" X state from leadership who is trying to protect you) lawless type (when it suits his agenda) and a hope smasher for a lot of people and some (but not all) are ok and even happy with this. We live in bizzaro world folks.
Honestly, most of the country has tuned Trump out at this point. He is always saying something just nothing of substance worth listening too.
So why are there threads like this created on a daily basis about what he has tweeted or retweeted? Sure does seem like some folks are listening
