It is the utmost in hypocrisy when they scream that Black Lives Matter yet they go on killing and victimizing each other?
Where is the outrage?
Where are the marches, the protests, the vigils, the riots and the mob taking a knee.
It is really sad that no one cares about the kids that are being caught in the cross fire of the gangs. It really is crazy that we accept what is going on in these inner cities like as if it is what it is. It reminds me when some idiot in the Middle East walks into a crowded market and blows it up. Hey that kind of stuff happens over there and there is nothing we can do? Well the same sentiment seems to go for the not so nice zones in Chicago.
This is the real racism, when blacks kill blacks and no one seems to care. I guess the white privilege is a real thing because if we were seeing dozens of people shot on any given weekend in say Boston the authorities would crack down..
It is really sad and so common that people just accept it.

The only correct response to this question is that every life matters up until the point you are forced to defend yours.
The propensity for the loss of life is always great. The best deterrent is to avoid any possible encounter in the first place.

If you engage in gang warfare, you might get killed. Maybe they should protest against gang violence, but I'm not sure the gangs would listen. Do you? Politicians, in the other hand, don't have a choice. They HAVE TO listen. Lot of resources are already allocated to combat gang violence, but its pretty much a mission impossible to weed it out.

I was agreeing with you. The OP is trying to paint many crime victims as not being armed but in reality many of them were.

Blacks killing blacks is usually met with court or street justice. Cops killing blacks usually results in cops not facing justice. Not facing jail or death. There is little you can do about a person who is willing to die or go to jail for taking the life of another human. Police don't generally have worry. Thus, the bigger threat is those who kill with impunity, not having to worry about being killed in retaliation or sent to prison for the remainder of most of their life.
