The leftist media that makes up the White House press corps continues to distinguish themselves by their relentless arrogance, their partisan vitriol, and their thoroughly unprofessional conduct towards the White House Press Secretary, Kayleigh McEnany.
Don't listen to White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany's predictable critics. The level of vitriol the leftist media hurls at her daily -- during and apart from the press briefings -- conclusively proves she is doing a superb job.
The media's attitude is purely adversarial, yet they act appalled that McEnany returns fire, albeit calmly, respectfully and eloquently. They uniformly dismiss this Harvard Law graduate as green and over her head, but she is remarkably polished, and it is driving them mad.
You see, you are not allowed to talk back to the sacrosanct Washington press corps, especially if you work for that unrefined, interloping president who stole the election and is still trespassing on 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. As Trump's press secretary, McEnany is an accessory to his adverse possession of the White House who forfeited any expectation of civil treatment when she accepted the job.
Some television anchors and commentators are particularly offended by McEnany's aforementioned practice of parrying the hostile questions they volley at her with suggestions of other questions. This just cannot happen because the press is holy and McEnany is their inferior who must curtsy while they abuse her and slander her boss.
Make no mistake about it, she is doing a stellar job in dealing with some seriously nasty people, who if they cared anything about the integrity and reputation of their journalistic profession, they would be ashamed of themselves for their outrageous behavior.
These people are positively mental cases. They have no concern for informing the public. They are all focused like a laser beam on making themselves the story and doing their part in the leftist mission to attack their political adversaries, with President Trump and his staff constituting enemy #1.
McEnany deserves an award for putting up with this vile crap from these people. If they keep it up, it will probably make sense at some point just to go ahead and cancel these briefings again.

I don't know your line of work but I'm not sure any employee that's doing a good job purposely antagonizes a part of their customer base. McEnany is still a federal employee, her purpose and the salary she draws from it is to serve the citizens of the country, not to chaw them off.

As a citizen, I'd say she's serving me more than adequately.
She already lost all possible credibility by saying that absentee ballots are wrong and promotes fraud while public records show she voted via absentee ballot 10 of the last 11 elections in Fla. The eleventh, she didn't vote.
She's a lot more of a hypocritical BSer than Spicer ever was.

Also, the press is not the "customer base" for the White House Press Office. They think they are, but that is just a further demonstration of how supremely and misguidedly arrogant these people are.
In fact, the White House press pool is a tool that the President of any party uses to try to disseminate information about what the government is doing to the people. They desperately need to reform their behavior, and some of them need to get professional psychiatric assistance. These people are deceitful in the extreme, partisan to the core and despicably hateful.
Kayleigh McEnany is standing in and doing her job despite the relentless partisan vitriol spewed at her in the most hateful manner that the press can muster on a daily basis. She is a strong and principled woman. These deranged leftist hacks in the press corp would do well to show her some respect. By their failure to do so, they only further discredit themselves.

You're right, the press is not her entire customer base. Fundamentally it's the people and taxpayers of the United States. If she's unable to conduct her business courteously and professionally then, yes, she's in fact not doing a good job. Same as any other job that requires interacting with others. You wouldn't accept that abrasive behavior from an employee of McDonald's, WalMart, your bank, your cable company or your pizza delivery guy.
As a citizen, I'd say she's serving me more than adequately.
She withholds information and insults your fellow citizens. How is that serving you?
