There is no caption under that photo in the story it came from and Minnesota does not allow the open carry of rifles with a narrow set of exceptions. e.g. transporting it somewhere.
For those two reasons I would suggest the image in question has nothing to do with these [strike]protests[/strike] riots.

Most likely a mix of white supremacists, Antifa and Boogaloos all there with their own agendas.
Honestly, this makes the most sense. These are the people who want the USA to descend into chaos and self-destruct, because their deranged Utopian worlds can't exist in the USA. Only burning it all down can get them what they want.
Antifa has numbers. White supremacists don't. There's going to be a lot more Antifa than Alt-Right simply because there's more of them. But you better believe they both want a bloody violent race war.
