No one cares if they are scared or not. Rational thinking people do not want to see their communities being taken over by mobs or burned down. The military won't care what these mobs are thinking. That's who will be called in to deal with this if the national guard can't get a handle on it.
But they don't want the President pouring fuel on the fire making stupid comments about Maga fans showing up, etc.

Trump is laying down the facts. Looters are criminals and run the risk of being shot. Already, one looters has been killed this way, proving Trump's words to be true. And a lot of right wing folks, business owners, home owners, etc are not going to mourn the loss of that looter. Many will say society is now better off. Again, just stating the facts here, which you claim you want to hear so bad.
The military couldn’t shoot looters. They could only use deadly force if shot at first basically.
The Governor sent in the National Guard...not Trump.
Remember Trump's first action was to threaten to shoot if they loot. That worked really well, Some could argue those words made the whole situation worse.
Um, I'd like to see someone try. It sounds awfully crazy. What is it with you people and your obsession with reading Trump's Tweets? Most people pay no attention to what Trump says and find out about it only because people like you are so hell-bent on publicizing it.
The fact is, lefties are trying ti burn America to the ground, and Trump won't stand for it, and neither will rational thinking, fact loving Americans.

He would have used force, because he's not stupid enough to believe you can reason with a mob. People would probably die. You and the rest of the world would be calling him a ruthless dictator. That's why it's better for him, and probably America as a whole, to allow the local police, governors, mayors, etc to deescalate the situation and prevent as much violence from occurring as possible. They have assistance from the national guard, or can request it. If they fail in their job, that is not Trump's fault. I don't think expecting them to deal with this problem is asking too much.
This should be a very sobering moment for the leaders of these cities where this stuff is happening. They need to reflect on how they have managed this situation, and if the things they have been doing have been making the situation better, or worse.

At many of Trump's rallies he said this virus was the next democratic hoax. He's on tape saying that. He downplayed it which lost of valuable time dealing with this.
