Trump has been the worst leader in my lifetime and he is getting worse. I think dementia is taking over what little brain power the man had. Someone needs to tell him to resign, so that we can make our country whole again.

I agree but am getting really burned out on discussing every ridiculous and destructive stunt that gets pulled because there's getting to be too many to keep up with each and every day, so I'll just keep it simple and say that your comments are well put.

I'm ambivalent about Trump destroying America's world influence. I never thought it was a good idea to try to be the world's policeman. Our endless foreign wars were a terrible mistake that let a dozen other nations surge past us in living standards, and the Chinese economy surge past us to become the largest in the world.

If Trump and the Republicans want to downsize the US economy, it will be agonizing in the short run but possibly a positive thing in the long run. His billionaire buddies might meet Mme Guillotine, but you can't make an omelette, etc.

Welcome to the monetary death spiral.

Yes, but should we be surprised? This is what happens if you're naive enough to elect an ignorant novice with no habits of reading, resistant to information, having been insulated all his life. He's never had what most people would consider a real job, never been accountable.

Thanks for the link. I love Reich.

Let me clarify our thought process a little:

ANYONE in their right mind looks at President Trump, then looks at the situation, then realizes the current situation is largely caused by his actions, inaction, incompetence, or "leadership", then looks at Biden, and says " Give me anyone except for President Trump, even if it's Biden. By comparison, Biden will be much less of a disaster. He's a halfway decent guy."

You have a short memory. Early on many said people didn't vote for President Trump, they voted against Hillary.

Well, they're about to vote against President Trump.

Well, no matter what, that's what Biden will think is happening and no one will have the heart to tell him just how bad he lost.
