I’m with you. What is it with these liberals being so insistent on painting out-of-control violent rioters as “innocent people”? They’re throwing bricks at cops, setting their cars on fire, burning down buildings, breaking into stores and stealing whatever they can carry out, and causing injuries to many people.

Did you even read the linked article? Direct photographic proof of cops attacking innocent people who were not engaged in the protests.
Knocking down an elderly man with a cane has nothing to do with "savage rioters." And it was not an accident. It was an out of control cop. Innocent woman with groceries shot in the face with a rubber bullet? Not an accident; an out of control cop did it.

Police can't root out the bad apples until they admit they have a problem first. Too often we see knee-jerk defensive tribalism from cops, the chiefs and the D.A.'s.
So you're ok with the elderly man with the cane being knocked down? Did you see the clip of that? The woman walking home with groceries who narrowly missed losing her eye? Wow dude.
Didn't watch the clip, but he shouldn't have been there. And any time you have a huge number of rioters you run the risk of collateral damage. Just like in a war.
True. I live 20 minutes outside one of the cities where the rioters are acting like crazed animals, and I wouldn’t go down there tonight if someone offered me $1 million.
