In a series of tweets, he explains that the protests for George Floyd started off peacefully, but then became violent after being infiltrated by "white supremacists".

I was watching the news early early this morning and the Republican Governor Walz said the exact same thing.
That some White Supremacists and the drug cartels and some Anarchists were joining in on the protestors/rioters, for different reasons. Just saying.

Red necks, (cleverly disguised as BLM people) sent by trump, infiltrated the cities and caused the riots and looting
Darn those red necks are clever
If they ever team up with the voting dead we are in real trouble

Is there a reason why you chose to focus only on white supremacists and ignore the rest, “ organized crime, out of state instigators, possibly even foreign actors”?

The Minnesota Governor threw in “drug cartels” for good measure.

While there is likely truth to outside agitation theories, there is also a potential political motivation to not blame local people.

Who benefits from a riot?

AH!!!!! There's the motivation for the whole thing!

"White supremacist" is the new dull sword. Like "racist", "conspiracy theorist", "sexist", "homophobe", it's a sword dulled to irrelevance from overuse, and it has lost the power to slice. Dull sword. It goes in the bin with "redneck" and "flyover".

Your words no longer cut.

Minneapolis Mayor says that "white supremacists" are causing all the riots
All kinds of fringe elements are joining the riots, and everyone is blaming each other. Even Trump sent a barrage of Tweets only to place blame on other people.

I think the virus lock downs have caused people to store up frustration, and they are letting it all out by rioting. We also have 40 million people who have lost their jobs and have the time in their hands, and some are angry and want to vent out.
