Even if someone is on the freeway illegally or is jaywalking on your neighborhood street, you do not have justification to purposely hit them. It's that simple.
You do if they threaten you and you are in fear for your life.
Highways have been a part of civil disobedience since the highways went up. As long as no one is destroying any infrastructure, more than likely, the most that will happen is they get arrested for trespassing, and get a desk ticket.

They are interrupting commerce at best. Threatening lives or injury at worst.
Put the gas pedal to the floor.

Suppose minutes before the "blocking" an ambulance got on the freeway carrying one of the "blockers" parents after they had been shot? The ambulance was "blocked" and could not get to the hospital and the blocker's parent died! Wonder how they would feel then?

We need to strengthen laws that make it illegal to block traffic. And the police should enforce. This crap needs to stop, it's annoying for everyone who gives not one crap about your cause, but gets stuck in traffic listening to you chant and hold up signs.

Well that's what they did in Miami at least. Lucky for all of us, I wasn't driving on the 95 at that time. If you step into freeways and block traffic, my sympathies for your life goes to 0.
