That is NOT what black people are protesting. That is what TRIGGERS black people protesting. Black people are protesting the history of racial oppression and current economic inequality and current racism....which gets brought to a head when an overt incidence of violence takes place by the police. The killing of black people, at the hands of whites, have been the cause of nearly every riot by blacks the last 100 years. White police killing blacks, white people killing black leaders, white mobs attacking blacks....we put up with discrimination.....but its the violence that triggers a violent backlash....but its the WHOLE thing that we are mad with.
This in spite of the fact that black people kill whites at more than 10 TIMES the rate of whites killing blacks. If "black lives mattered"-blacks would be addressing the fact that blacks kill other blacks at more than 50 times the rate whites kill blacks. But face it-BLM is just a way to celebrate and encourage black racism and violence. To justify rioting and looting. To excuse murder.
Thankfully, the vast majority of people, black and white, are decent, normal, hard working, productive people. But the exceptions do like to whine.

The issue is the absence of repercussions for whites. When black people kill black people, the perp is punished. That is almost always the case when blacks kill whites. But when whites kill blacks, too many times that is not the case, especially when law enforcement is involved.
BLM is protesting. Opportunists of all races are rioting and looting. No one is excusing murder except for those who are advocating for the police in involved in the case.
But my personal issue with BLM is that they do not look at these incidents on a case by case basis. The main example being the Michael Brown case. The eyewitness testimony was questionable but we have a video from the same day that displayed Brown’s attitude. I find it difficult to believe that Brown did not charge the officer. Either way, we don’t know so I don’t believe in demonizing the officer is that case. But that’s just me...
In the same way as the one in the Minneapolis incident?
The story would only be another police incident and would not make national headlines and it would certainly not cause nation-wide protests and riots.
All of the Media would be applauding him for expressing his rage and doing their best to cover up what happened. Most white people would never see the video and most blacks would laugh when they saw it.
"A white person?" What if black cops killed about 80 white people every year.
