I think we're discussing the peaceful protestors in front of the white house just before his speech.
They were peacefully assembled, and were dispersed with tear gas and a show of force at the outset of the address.
Again, the protesters had a 7 p.m curfew that was instituted by the DC mayor, Muriel Bowser. It was past 7 p.m. and the protesters were still hanging around.
YEs -- -they were outside the White House. 10 minutes before he comes out for his photo op and declaration of his goal of a military state, the law enforcement aggressively moved the 'peaceful protesters' back.....tear gas, flash bombs.
I suspect someone discovered they were in ear shot in the Rose Garden so they moved them back....unfortunately it meant through his press briefing you could hear loud bangs........not exactly supportive of protesters at all.
Today Trump talked about the world laughing at the USA.

In all of this --- the rioters are not the protesters. They are not rationale human beings.
THe one thing Trump's simple minded threats and 2nd Amendment references is forgetting...lots of folks that are in that criminal bunch have guns -- legal and otherwise. Talking about shooting and looting, will make sure those looting will be shooting too.

Richmond, VA Sat night. Protesters set fire to a house occupied with children inside. Then intentionally blocked the fire dept from gaining access to the building. Terrorist.

He said no such thing. He said he is calling for states to use their National Guard members to quell any disturbances. If that fails to happen, then he will call in the military.
