I can't watch more than two seconds of that video. What a horrific deed these guys carried out. I hope they are convicted and sentenced the maximum amount of time they can get.
So do I. The maximum time allowed by law won't make up for what they did but it's right. Moreover, a thorough investigation of every police officer's record in this country needs to be reviewed. It will take time to do it but weeding out bad cops will help to resolve some of the problem. There are so many good officers out there but they get lumped into the whole basket of bad ones.
In anyone is interested in a very detailed medical description of what killed George Lloyd, this doctor does a good job.
He also has some extremely good videos on how covid-19 affects the body, particularly in all the different ways it attacks people based on each individual's particular weakness.
His explanations get very detailed, and there's some unavoidable medical terminology that he has to explain, but if you keep with him to the end, you'll have a thorough understanding...and you'll be better able to see through the media and political spin.
Really difficult to watch, but thank you for posting it, Ralph.
Like I asked initially - if he's handcuffed and put in the back seat would he have died? Nope.
There was no pulse, the guy who checked it probably stated that, and yet the knee remained and nobody batted an eye. In fact, the EMT's dragged him on the pavement instead of lifting him up.
I think this is the most egregious case of police brutality and murder that I've ever seen.
He was arrested because he was trying to cash a forged check, a common criminal.
So what? He's a human being. Cops do NOT get to play judge and jury.
