Why do you think camera man who filmed them continuously for such a long period was unable to record any of this confrontation? Or of his girlfriend being assaulted. If I was a betting man, I'd be inclined to think he may not come out of it looking too good.
Maybe because they were being attacked. I am not making excuses for any of these troublemakers on the street. These included. All of them need to go.

This is the way it's supposed to happen. The police have no obligation to protect you or your property. They only show up to collect data and assign blame after the fact.

The Latin Kings and some other Latino gang have all been on the streets in their Chicago neighborhoods detaining those who have started to loot and turning them over to the cops. Social media is filled with posts of looters telling others not to go to those areas, so it's working.

Blowing out a few knees with a bat and splitting a few skulls sends a better message. Shooting someone brings a whole bunch of scrutiny and messy paperwork/lawsuits.

That's between you and your people. If your people want to burn down their own neighborhoods, so be it. i won't care at least. But if you go into my neighborhood, we will organize, like we used to do in the 90s every October 30 in Detroit.
