Brittany Payton describes racist incident in Chicago (racism, claim, world)

FOX 32 anchor Brittney Payton, the daughter of Hall of Fame NFL running back Walter Payton, said she encountered a racist white man at a Chicago Walgreens on Tuesday.

Payton posted her experience on Twitter, saying the man in the car behind her got out of his vehicle, held up a watermelon and made monkey noises in her direction in the Walgreens pharmacy drive-thru

This just doesn't seem right - it seems so completely and utterly over the top, complete with racist tropes.

Not to mention, if you are behind the car at the window at the Walgreens drive thru, how the heck do you get out of the driver's side door? You should be less than a foot away from a brick wall. I'm not saying it can't be done, but to get out and to pull a watermelon out of your trunk?

*shrug* Seems odd as well but there are idiots and mentally ill people that do racist stuff at times and that's not just white people.

I'm white and I've experienced racism in my life as well so her claim doesn't surprise me.

I've seen all kinds of races act badly. Jerks abound.

This will most likely be national news aimed to outrage and cause further division . Multiple dead cops at the hands of out of control raging rioters will not be.
