And alone. Sandra Lee put up with his bad personality much too long, and she hit the road.

I honestly cannot believe the electorate of New York can be so damned ignorant. Ocasio-Cortez, Gillibrand, Cuomo, DeBlazio and Schumer are embarrassments as people and even more so as politicians that were elected by the people to speak for them.

Is there any decent politician in that state?

So we have a liberal journalist saying it’s OK for the citizens of his state to be violent?

I'm telling ya, the media are pushing for this mess. People are sheep and are falling for it. The ones running the media want a civil war so we can be divided.

It goes deeper than the media, there is a sinister agenda at work here, the media is just one small part. This was bound to happen sooner or later.

Isn't Chris the "journalist" who said, "Also, interesting is, remember, it's illegal to possess these stolen documents. It's different for the media. So everything you learn about this, you're learning from us," re the Wikileaks emails?

Yep, that's him--the guy who wants to control the minds of Americans.

If Cuomo truly feels this way, should he tell his brother to order police to stand down when looting starts?

After all, a local politician and now apparently AOC is claiming that the looting is because evil politicians don't give out enough free chit. So vote for them and have the politicians loot for you.

But Cuomo is correct. Peaceful demonstrations haven't brought about needed change.

Did it do so in the Revolutionary War? No, the Boston Tea Party did. How did the British respond? With concern and change? No. Their "Trump" declared VIOLENCE was the response.

In the prelude to the Civil War, did reason persuade slave holders to do what every other civilized nation had done--make slavery illegal? No. Their states "withdrew" from the Union and FIRED on Fort Sumpter. VIOLENCE was their response.

During the decades long struggle for women's rights did reason make change? No. Women marching in the street and literally being attacked by men who thought VIOLENCE would subdue them to their "historical" roles.

In the early 19th century the Democratic Party was the haven for racists. That was until Lyndon Johnson, a great Texan president for all his mixed messages and use of the "n" word, said this in 1964:
Quote:
"Until justice is blind to color, until education is unaware of race, until opportunity is unconcerned with the color of men's skins, emancipation will be a proclamation but not a fact."
That statement and Johnson's campaigning on behalf of the Civil Rights Act led to a mass exodus of white supremacists in the south from the Democratic party.

Where did they go--right, of course, to the Republican Party courtesy of Barry Goldwater who saw political advantage in seeking our racists. White supremacists began joining the Republican party 1960's. Over the last 50 years, the progressive wing of the Republican party entirely disappeared. Southerners went from voting solidly Democratic to voting solidly Republican.

Not every Trump supporter is a racist, but you can damn well be sure every racist and white supremacist is an "Ever Trumper."

So maybe YOU are not a racist, but if you're not an anti-racist, YOU are still supporting the haven of ALL American racists--the Republican Party. You don't get rid of racists in the party by saying you don't "want" them, you do it by making them uncomfortable. You do it by creating and passing legislation that protects minorities and people of color. You prosecute those who are committing hate crimes against people of color. You do it by making it as uncomfortable as possible for them to remain in your party and vote for your candidates.

Until that occurs, the Republican Party IS the definition of institutionalized racism.
