Because that's what the POTUS does, it's a little known fact - in times of crisis, he inspects bunkers. Very big part of the job. Washington's bunker inspections were the stuff of legend.

He needed to know if his bunker toilet was well equipped with TP and hand-wash. I think he was unhappy to find out there were no cheeseburgers & fries available, he did find plenty of cokes in the fridge for him.
So forum progressives, if you think Trump is hiding in the bunker, do you think his wife and son are as well? Do you think they should be there? And if not, why not?
The media reports it this way when they know it’s not his choice. It’s secret service that enforces. How can they report that he is decides to hide when they know darn well it’s false? Then I read people posting on FB that he hides instead of helping and speaking out.
I've been hearing this silly talking point. I guess you all got the memo.
Nope, the POTUS is commander in chief and can override the secret service if he chooses. I would LOVE to see someone try to tell him in an interview that he is not the boss of the Secret Service and watch him either throw a tantrum or run away with his tail between his legs. (His only two responses to anything the pressers ask him.)

You're forgetting telling them 'That's a stupid question'.
