Pretty much. "Absolute power corrupts absolutely". Applies 100% in cases like this. In the case of these big Democrat controlled cities and states they should take away police money, as these Democrat cities are where the vast majority of civil rights violations occur.

I think you'd find that there is widespread agreement among researchers that any official number is a flawed measure of whatever it is they are supposed to be measuring, including unemployment and population.

"What I want to see is not a rush to judgment, but a rush to justice."

-Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Good luck with THAT part in our society today... our rush to judgement is as quick as a swipe on one's phone.

Being a retired cop after 30 years, what will "Defund" mean? Well all those retirees that are coming, will not be replaced for years. There will be no Academy classes. Also, those nice Suv's they drive, those will have to last 2-3 more years. Thats about it. Less cops, older vehicles, and probably less equipment for the Swat team. And pistol range quals will be once a year instead of two.

Ummm...the last number I heard for the LAPD budget was $1.8 Billion a year.

Also, why are the numerical amounts not listed for the other items on the chart? Hmmm......

They were driving like bats of hell, running red lights,???? Moore was on air around 7pm and said There is a curfew starting at 8pm , LA residents must be inside by 8pm till 5am Sunday or face arrest...O

This was the only area that looting that was going on, about 3 hours into the curfew..So no cops?

The woman reporter was clearly beyond frustrated and even said good thing most people aren't driving, well true but some people were working. How about some nurse or CNA or whomever were killed by these morons?

Where were the cops? It was like watching "The Purge"not a very good film where in the not to distant future America all crime is legal for 24 hours once a year. Was this a beta test? The store owners need to really get loud about. In addition we all know the Fairfax district is known primarily Jewish.

The was a Zoom meeting and people waited hours for up to 9 hours, most of whom didn't to speak, but
oh brother!!! He has to go. The only good thing that came out of this the citizens were all ages. races. and different views on politics. But they know people need to unite for something.

It was nice to hear and see that, Americans uniting to get something done

Yes, you said this in you earlier post. Now you don't have to respond to what I asked you earlier, that's your choice. But than it looks like you won't answer because you think the police an do no wrong. See no answer is the answer, and it speaks volumes.

It's kind of hard to worry that much about what you're saying when there were no police to be seen in the Fairfax district that Saturday night and 3 hours into the curfew and it was a free for all.

You might be able to out run a Motor Jock riding an old Harley. Cities will NEVER cut traffic enforcement. Thats easy revenue. If they Defund, there will be more traffic enforcement.
