If they don't want the job, let them walk. Replace them with Americans that won't abuse their position.

How are you going to accomplish that? Defunding will stop vetting new hires, cancel valuable training and will produce a untrained poor police officer that slip through the cracks due to poor hiring standards.

Interesting perspective from the individual who wrote the article.

Haven't seen or heard of massive resignations of police across the nation...so for now it is anecdotal.

Police force always has been a thankless job.

Did he think it was going to be like Mayberry RFD.?

The very nature of the work is everything he complains about and has been since he joined .........
He's old and tired and it is time to walk away.
