We've got 50% of homicides in the country committed by the 13% of black population. Is this profiling?
Yes it is to act like it's all the black people. They are 13%. Then it's a small % of them doing crime.
What do they have to do with all of the professional black people and all the working class black people that don't do crime?
You're lumping them all together.
My neighborhood has gotten blacker and blacker over time and people feared crime would go up. It hasn't. They work. They pay their bills. They are good members of the community.
This is not a ghetto. But if blacks in general were so criminally oriented, we'd have a higher crime rate just due to demographics.
In fact where I shop, there are more black people than white. Some people drive a few miles and pay more to shop with white people and I have no idea why. There are no problems at all in the stores with different demographics.
I think they just feel weird. But I am sure some legit believe that predominantly black = trouble.
Which releases him into society where he is free to endanger someone else..........Knowing the punishment is not very severe......
Then go tell the Governor of Texas because it's up to the leadership of that state to determine what an appropriate sentence is, not you. Furthermore, regardless of how much time he did he did not deserve to be murdered.
How ridiculous is this...Floyd receives 8 months for breaking into a womens home and searching for drugs/money...but a simple possession of cocaine conviction gets him 10 months?!! LOL
Anyone still want to debate that drug laws are tools of racism..Yeah I didnt think so!

Through pre-recorded and recorded history and the US Constitution, there is no right to permanent citizenship.
Citizenship may be revoked at any time.
Since Congress controls citizenship and naturalization, Congress could certainly enact a law to strip American citizens of their citizenship with good cause and being a felon is good cause.
I'm tired of my tax-dollars paying for police and courts and probation officers and parole officers and social workers and prisons and prison guards and higher insurance rates, since insurance companies indemnify losses to criminal activity, and higher prices for consumer goods and services due to crime.
The money wasted on that would be better spent on education or infrastructure or just plain commerce.
No more probation.
For anyone who commits a non-Capital offense (a Capital offense is murder, rape, arson, kidnapping and robbery), the do a minimum mandatory 7 years in prison.
On a schedule.
They go to breakfast, then classes, then lunch, then classes, then dinner, then classes, then one hour of quiet time and lights out at 10:00 PM. No TV, no cable, no satellite, no internet, no radio, no nothing.
That's their life. Nothing but learning. They wanna act out, they can have another year added to their sentence. If they want to die in prison, that's up to them, because there are no more parole officers.
After 7 years of learning, they get released.
If they're convicted of a 2nd felony offense, they go to a holding facility, get stripped of citizenship and deported.
If that is not a deterrent factor, then what will be?
People who blatantly and flagrantly disrespect other Americans and their property and our laws and institutions have demonstrated they're of no redeeming value.
US Citizenship should be viewed as a privilege and not a right. If you can't live here peacefully among people and contribute, then you do not deserve to live here.
What about their families?
Who gives a damn? Very obviously, the families didn't, because if they did, then they would have raised their children with high moral and ethical values and taught them right from wrong.
My money, education, bridges and roads and a better and safer life for the real Americans are far more important than the feelings of some family who now has to fork out oodles of money to fly to a foreign State to visit a deported family member.

A native born person cannot have their citizenship revoked. A US Citizen cannot be exiled or refused entry into the US.

it's even smaller than that....
black women commit a very small portion of black crime...it's mostly black males
so it's more like 7-8% of the population commits 50% of the homicides
....which is a very scary number
and to compound it even more....the other way....they combine latin/hispanic in with white....which throws off the anglo numbers...skewing it higher than it would be

He's committing assault and battery (a felony) on the officer. What else is he supposed to do?

Officer Lane said that once Floyd was handcuffed (after being dragged from his car) Mr. Floyd was compliant, and sitting on the ground.
BTW, the FBI says it's 36%, not 50%. IDK where y'all are getting that 50% figure from.
Given that blacks are 50% more likely to be wrongly convicted, I am not even sure official tallies are correct.
