There is no right wing extremist. That's a creation of the left since the times of the Commune of Paris in 1871 and the Marxist ideology that is running the false Democrat party in America today.
Yeah... no. Anti government and anti injustice and anti establishment doesn't make them far right or white supremacists. It makes them radicals. Sounds like they wanted to get in on the fun if the protests turned violent. I wonder if the FBI gave them the materials or if they bought the stuff with a check from George Soros.
Post article this week that Soros has paid 40M to get dozens of criminal friendly district attorneys eleected throughout the US. My first thought to that, that's it??. Just think of what Musk can do with 1B
Per the bolded --- This is not your country, Norm. Thus you have no say as to whether he gets re-elected or not. Just as I have no say as to whether or not your "chaotic in Chief in Ottawa" gets re-elected or not
As for the topic of your thread---it doesn't matter where the thugs and looters stand on the political spectrum. All that matters is that the ones in your OP were caught and stopped before they could do damage. So---Bravo to the police for a job well done
From the article...
Boogaloo Bois aren’t quite as easy to pin down with regard to political beliefs as perhaps some extremist groups, according to the Middlebury Institute of International Studies’ Center on Terrorism, Extremism, and Counterterrorism, with some adherents actually claiming anti-racism, and even claiming there will be a uniting of forces between Black Lives Matter, Boogaloo Bois, and antifascists, but there’s still a definite white supremacist element, and the whole movement tends to lean far right.
As for the Middlebury Institute of International Studies’ Center on Terrorism, Extremism, and Counterterrorism, it doesn't impress me with their objectivity.
There is much reporting of "agents provocateur" (including some police actions unfortunately) of groups of people purposely destroying property to make it appear that the protesters in the area are not peaceful.
None of that excuses those protesters who are looting and rioting, none of it. But, to falsely amplify criminality is even worse.
Few would be surprised that extremists on the right would take advantage of chaos, and try and inflame perceptions. Most of us are surprised, and very disappointed that some police are involved also.
Nothing surprising about extremists on the right or on the left causing problems. The middle 80 or 90% of country, conservative or liberal, wouldn't even think of doing such things. But if the police are doing it, yes that's surprising and even worse.
