This is just one of the ways Trump is destroying our country. For those who don't think our environment is important, try eating money when you don't have any food or clean water to drink.

The stupid thing is that most construction never shut down for Covid -19. It was considered an essential industry. So this executive order would do precious little to accelerate the economy. It would just allow bad things to happen.

Federal only, not sure how these work in all states but I imagine states and localities still require impact studies for large projects.

I know in Florida it is required as our environment is struggling to deal with our ever growing population.

I'm glad to see that states are trying to be responsible.

I gotta give the Orange Marxist credit when it comes to rolling back regulations. He has at least made some headway on that front.

Almost as if he's an actual capitalist like 20 seconds out of every 24-hour-day.

Exactly -- it is an excuse to deregulate.

All developers -- residential, commercial, big and small hate regulations -- and they do what they can to get rid of them.

Any idea the time and cost to even replace an existing bridge across a small creek? Ever see where the estimated cost of the road has ballooned, this is usually why.

Stupid. But Trump supporters will love it. Hopefully this lack of environmental review only applies to Trump supporting states since Trump loving red state governors would do nothing to stop it.

Good move. I am all for protecting the environment but there is a balance that we have swung past. We can't hardly keep up with the rest of the world on infrastructure development because the EPA's regulations are so strict adding tons costs and years to a project. The EPA started out as a good thing, but like many other organizations have been too influenced by special interests.
