This is simple. Cities erected the statues. Those same cities can choose to tear them down. Charlottesville should never had to experience outside agitators I.e alt righties who were not part of the cumminity. To argue otherwise makes righties federalists.
and when all the Confederate monuments will the mob stop there or will they push for more?
I repeat the FDR memorial is more insulting to me then a Robert E Lee memorial is to you, pulling down memorials though will lead to worse things if done in a mob like, group think, anti fact way. This doesn't mean that is should not be done, but it must be done in a intelligent thought out, not mob like way.
the damage from this will be much worse than the damage of the statues up.

Grant got moderated by Lincoln. When the war started, he fully intended to hang every Confederate leader in the South. Lincoln ordered him not to, and Grant followed orders.

I feel like many people have no empathy for me in terms of WHY I see Confederates the way I do. You are the one who tries to act like you know so much about my childhood. I'd like to know what you know about me outside of what I've mentioned on this thread. I haven't even spoken about my childhood on this thread. At this point, it's suspicious.
You have my sympathy, you will never get my empathy.
