The only saving grace is that everyone is used to him sticking his foot in his mouth, so hopefully everyone will just roll their eyes and shrug it off.

There is nothing this man can say or do that will result in criticism by his base. Nothing. It's bizarre. I mean, some of us have been reluctantly watching the Trump Show, off and on, for more than 40 years. There's a reason he so miserably lost the state of NY: if you know his history, you know he's been a thieving, lying lowlife his entire life. Plus, he's ignorant and a malignant narcissist. I guess his base likes that. Or maybe they take pleasure in his viciousness. Quite apart from their cluelessness about who he really is (and that's giving them a whole heckuva lot of the benefit of the doubt), it's pretty rich that they blame others who do know who he is for being so hard on him, considering the avalanche of abuse, much of it racist, that the Obamas endured during Obama's time in office. The good news is that the poll numbers show him sinking, with Biden ahead.

Why must Trump supporters reflexively refuse to believe anything whatsoever that exposes Trump's lack of a moral center, or of a thinking brain.
