...in violation of the federal government's own social distancing guidelines.

Well, most of those reporters are already putting themselves at risk being out there with crowds of protestors. There's really no point in keeping them distanced at the White House anymore.

Either you believe social distancing is important, or you don't. You can't change your opinion depending on where you're at.

But it's OK for rioters, looters and arsonists to be out close together by the thousands?

Yea ... the argument for social distancing is dead now thanks to tens of thousands of people who hit the streets nationwide to protest, with the stated approval of mayors and governors whom only a day or two before were ordering closures.

Genie isn’t going back into the bottle now.

Unless it's where you place blame whether standing in Helsinki or in the White House.

The argument for social distancing ain't dead for me. I'd say it's even more necessary now than it was before the reopenings and the protests. I've been living like a hermit for the last 3 months with no end in sight.

Nope those reporters that have White House assignments aren't the ones on the street.

Each news outlet may two or as many as three reporters that get the White House beat. Those reporters do not do street reporting.

South Carolina one of the first states to jump in to the whole opening up and the last to really push stay at home.

We weren't doing to badly -- now we are seeing spikes -- consistently -- in the last week that match at the peak.

I'm not a hyped up -e tc.....I've met friends for drinks on a patio....etc.....but you can't ignore the numbers.......
