On Saturday morning Sesame Street and CNN teamed up to host an honest conversation with kids and families about racism, amid national protests demanding justice for George Floyd who died after a violent encounter with the Minneapolis police.
i'm sorry I don't care what they say Big Bird is nothing more then a stinking animal. Big Bird lives don't matter. In fact fried or nicely baked is best way to treat em.
It was, considering Sesame Street has always been a diverse and inclusive show. People are having a hard time talking to their kids about these issues, so it was good forum to ask questions for little ones to understand in an age appropriate way what is happening in the world right now. After all, kids aren’t born racist.
Obviously the people that burned and looted my town Saturday did not catch that episode of Sesame Street
