You obviously have never paid much attention to history, I suggest you start.

A hard look at the mechanics of every communist revolution, and it's immediate aftermath is a very good place to start. Because that's where we are at today. Just. the. beginning. The real "falling apart" hasn't quite started yet.

This "worse case liberal" scenario can only happen if we get an extremely radical, militant liberal type that runs strictly on identity politics. The best thing for America, IMO, is to get a likeable moderate liberal centrist in the White House to balance things out.
