This is a push by a small, radical, most ANTIFA but some spillover into the BLM groups and a few protestors that get caught up in the BS narrative.
This is not the majority opinion--by far.
CNN, MSNBC, NY Times, Washington Post and the other far left/Democrat supported mainstream media are giving this story way way too much focus and credibility, and they should be at fault--once again--for pushing a story and creating a huge false narrative that this opinion is very popular.
These media outlets have really started to become trash. All they report on is mostly not credible, super sensationalized, opinion pieces that make Republicans and the right look bad, and are not looking out for the best interest of anything--other than money and ratings.
It's really disgusting how low the media has gone. The Trump era has broken them and turned them into gossip rags and channels.
Reform yes, abolishing no. We have no middle ground in America, which is frightening. Maybe our brains have been implanted w/ chips that are making us so crazy? They're called crazy chips and not the potato kind.
I support an examination of budgets and cuts / reallocation to other areas outside the police as appropriate. I don’t now why that would be scary to anyone concerned with goverment spending and waste.
So the left wants to defund and abolish the police and have social workers instead. I can just see a social worker confronting an armed robber or arsonist. "So how does doing that make you feel?? LOL! Sure, talk them off the ledge while they put a knife to your throat or a gun to your head.
When the Cripps and the Bloods, or maybe the Latin Kings are running all the inner-city neighborhoods (or maybe even yours) get back to me on how you wanted to abolish the police. Fools. All this while the liberals take your guns and crap on the 2nd Amendment. And whatever you do -- be politically correct, because the left has crapped on your 1st Amendment rights as well.
You don't dare to say or think anything that the God Almighty party says you can't. Oops, wait -- they don't want you to believe in God or have religion either, as that fall under the 1st Amendment that they already took a dump on. Hell, they may as well use the entire Constitution to wipe their bottoms as that's all it will be good for once the radical liberal left gets done with it.

I really don't know what the heck is happening with our so called leaders. They've turned into a bunch of kooks. Polling in this thread is at 91% do not want police defunded.
Why are these leaders listening to the very minor fringe elements on this subject? Do they really think that this is going get them reelected?
