For the vast majority of cases, its the persons attitude toward the police.
In very rare instances, its the police person over reacting or making a bad judgement.
Yet, here we are, burning the country down.

The poll misses the most important point: training and supervision.
It's a tough job ... stressful. The police need constant training and reinforcement in how to deal with anger triggers and how to handle the general public in such an intense environment.
They get a lot of practice on the range, learning how to reflexively shoot to kill, but it's not that simple. Policing requires a lot of people skills and cool headedness.
