Here’s the current ranking of Presidents as done by a panel of historians in a book issued by CSPAN. Although Trump is President #45, he is only the 43rd person to serve in the office since Grover Cleveland served non-consecutive terms as #22 and #24. Since Presidents are not ranked until they leave office, Trump was not ranked and the former Presidents are ranked from 1-43.

Obama #12.
Is this suppose to be satire or something?
How can anyone take that list seriously?

Even democrats would never place Obama that high up.

Not satire.

Obama has been ranked at various times from 8th to 18th of all time by different groups of historians, and usually ranked well within the 2nd of 4 possible quartile, so he’s generally rated above average. The few that have started rating Donald Trump have him among the very worst in quartile 4; the bottom of the barrel.

Of course the rankings are done by historians. If it were done by plumbers, maybe Trump would fare better.

If all college professors and noted historians are “commies”.

Maybe plumbers would rank Trump higher, but their prose would read like Trump’s, which makes 6th grade English teachers cringe.

Trump is brash and has a potty mouth. Doesn't act very presidential.

The only movie I've ever seen of his was She's Gotta Have It. I remember liking it at the time, but I've gotten more socially conservative as I've aged, so I don't think I'd like it now.

In any case, Spike Lee is entitled to his opinion, just like the rest of us. Why anyone would think that it carries any more weight than anyone else's, and is worthy of being featured in a "news" story, is beyond me.

Yup, pretty much a foregone conclusion by now.

Any ranking of Reagan that doesn't have him in the top 5 or 6 is suspect to me. How can LBJ be ranked at No. 10 when he was so universally hated that he chose not to run a second time, knowing that he'd lose? Wilson at No. 11? The same Wilson that pledged to keep us out of World War I and gave us the League of Nations? And it's too soon to be ranking Obama; I would say at least 10 years need to go by after a president leaves office before any real objectivity and perspective becomes possible.

So, based on this alone, I'm not too impressed with this list.
