It's the main stream media, which is pretty much controlled by only 5 companies, and they all want a globalist One World Government, which they believe they will be the ones to control the news part. And they are distracting to the fact that there are arrests and court hearings going on with both Hillary Clinton and Obama.
Weird how you say it's terrible what happened to George Floyd, yet you couldn't leave out the part about his criminal record, which had nothing to do with the incident surrounding his death.
It's not about him being a hero, but how he was brutally suffocated to death for over 9 minutes as he repeatedly told the officers he couldn't breathe.
So many people seem to be completely out of touch with what this whole George Floyd/Breanna Taylor/Ahmad Arbery movement means to African-Americans, and it's really sad.
No loss of life imo here. He wouldn’t of died if wasn’t committing crimes. The only sad thing is he didn’t overdose on his own before committing the crime and now tons of cities suffering over the “cause”
Totally over the top……to white people…….but we have not suffered the same injustices, so who are we to judge? We've controlled the narrative, we've had our moment, our moment is every day, so when one man's death actually changes public opinion, something that rarely has ever happened, and perhaps not on this scale since 1968, who are we to say…….over the top?
It may be to us, but we don't feel what black people feel, the same pain, the same injustice, and the same anger.
So blacks are the only ones who have ever experienced pain, injustice and anger?
Let me tell you about my son's friend, who has been attending all the protests and is fully on board with BLM, Antifa, etc.
He is from Malaysia. He is Asian. He is 18. He has a freaking (posh) British accent. He has been here for two years and leaves soon. He is not an American citizen.
WTF does he know about black oppression?
Your argument would hold up better if it were only blacks protesting, rioting and looting.
And with Progressive forces actively discriminating against them when their kids are trying to get into colleges, I expect that may change as well.
The Right sure as hell ain't perfect, which is a big part of the reason I washed my hands of it a long time ago. The Right was home to a lot of mistrust and hatred for everything that is not W.A.S.P.-ish enough. That aspect of the Right has been slowly dying off. There isn't much left of it at this point. Just tiny little groups that everyone ignores at this point. Right on cue, the Far-Left has taken up the banner of identitarianism by hyper-obsessing about race, color and ethnicity. I don't expect that most Asians realize that their chosen party is no longer looking out for their best interests. It should also be interesting to see if the Republicans can channel the notion of being a "big tent" party sufficient to bring these groups in. That might not happen and Asians and Jews might just find themselves politically homeless.
Old-school liberals had a good thing going. The rising generation ain't liberal by any sane definition of the word. There's a whole lot of purity testing, moral busy-bodying, suppression of free speech, witch hunting within the party, etc. going on with the SJW progressive youth. Remember the Democrats of the 1900's? They refused to allow Republicans to ban porn. They ensured that miniskirts and bikinis and other scandalous articles of clothing were not banned. They were free speech absolutists who stood up for the rights of even the KKK to speak. Fast forward to today and it's the SJW Neo-Marxist Progressives that got the swimsuit competition removed from the Miss America pageant, and got grid girls eliminated from professional racing circuits and who are hating on professional models for being too pretty. They highly endorse the wearing of Muslim head scarfs and Muslim-approved dress code standards as a sign of solidarity. The progressive mayor of London covered up all the ads with women showing too much skin for his liking. They actively search through social media, looking or wrong-thinking people to silence, shame and destroy the lives of. We're living in opposite world, are we not?
Can anyone come back with any reasoning about how the virus is hardly talked about anymore? In my state all fests, concerts are canceled through Labor Day. You can’t gather in more than groups of 10. You can’t stand within 6 feet of each other in a public place. All pools are closed. Are the protests and memorials the only thing that is allowed? Can anyone justify why Covid doesn’t matter when it’s about protests and memorials for George Floyd? Yes I know it’s a constitutional right to protest but I would think a lot of our constitutional rights were infringed upon with the response to Covid.
Basically yes but it isn't limited to BLM protests. But let's remember that police did Jack squat with breaking up the Covid-19 Operation Gridlock protests. Anytime I said that for those, I got chewed out for infringement of their first amendment rights. What's good for the goose...

Basically, the govt worried that certain minorities would take 'white jobs' away, and they were concerned about what certain minorities would do to white women when they were high on drugs. The people that wrote the drug laws admitted they lied about the dangers of drugs.
The exact same thing continues today! The only reason they arrest white people for drugs today, I believe is so the racism is not so blindingly apparent on the surface, police can honestly say, that they arrest white people for drugs too, its all a big scam, they were never worried about white folks using drugs.

Yes, I agree with you. Criminals shouldn't be mourned over when they lose their lives. Think about that the next time you hear about a cop slaying. Ask yourself if that cop was one of the 40% who are domestic abusers. There's almost a 50% that he was. Good riddance, right?
