I would image they want the publicity. The less given to them, the better.

Imagine if it happened to your neighborhood and the police just left you to your own devices.
I understand where you’re coming from but in all fairness, the citizens of Seattle voted these idiots into office so they really have no one to blame but themselves.

There have always existed extremists of every ideology, but what is surprising is that they are allowed to enact their ideology in a major American city, especially during this pandemic.

You now have a dense population living in a self-imposed small perimeter of 6 city blocks, during a highly contagious viral pandemic, where we are bracing for a possibly stronger second wave over the summer. On top of whatever public health issues that may arise in this situation. And these people will eventually disperse amongst the general population.

Very surprised at the response from the city and state government officials. Seattle was a gateway for the virus but managed to avoid NYC’s fate. If this continues, what are the chances Seattle will see a large increase in COVID-19 infection rate?

It looks like the inmates are now running the asylum.

Seattle Police Chief, regarding 911 calls coming from "CHAZ" (Cap Hill Autonomous Zone): "Rapes, robberies and all sorts of violent acts have been occurring in the area and we're not able to get to [them]."

Includes video.

Meanwhile residents get victimized and everyone is ok with that. Makes no sense, until you realize that these people have a guilt complex and are self-haters, leading to self-destructive behavior
Moderator cut: link removed, competitor site.

That makes it a very dangerous place to live or visit.

Exactly. The pandemic is still happening!! Where are the public health experts who micromanaged every movement of an entire nation for three months?

No worries though--any future outbreaks will be tied to those Memorial Day beach goers at Lake of the Ozarks. They are monitoring that very carefully.

The protests, riots, and takeover of 6 blocks couldn't possibly spread any Covid.

Democrat "leader" solutions: "Bow to ALL demands." I've never seen such feckless leadership, afraid of their own shadows.

The worst part is how complicit the media is in not reporting this.

And when they do report it, the narrative is to promote these freaks and that everyone in America is RACIST.
