I supported the use of the military and National Guard to rid ourselves of domestic terrorists in the early 90s in the LA Riots and Waco. I support the use of each again now to rid ourselves of the domestic terrorists in Seattle, now.
The guy filming this is a jerk for sure - but there actually is nothing much going on in there. I think in a few days people will start abandoning the place. It's like retirement - you look forward to something - time to relax - away from all the stress and after a week or two you are bored and don't know what to do with yourself. Garbage is starting to pile up and even the yahoo filming said he wouldn't use the port o potties.
They are going to figure out what any woman who has ever gone to a Woodstock-like gathering already knows: rapists and sexual predators love this kind of thing. It's probably already happening.
Who will they call? 911? What will happen to the rapist when there is no jail to go to? Any 'crimes' that happen will probably be handled by street justice, or no justice. And defining a crime is as simple as pointing at someone and saying "they did it" and getting the mob to back you. That's pretty much how most of civilization was before humanity evolved into due process and law enforcement--the things they want to abolish.
That this is actually happening, and is getting almost no attention, is just stunning.
Fill a firefighting tanker aircraft with sewage and fly over dumping it on them. Then cut utilities and wifi, and not let anyone in. Arrest each as they leave.
No point, just let Seattle be Seattle.
It's best to let them serve as a bright glowing example of whatever it is they're trying to do.

The whole place was full of graffiti and the guy said he didn't see any graffiti...just priceless. And calling everything The People's....reminds me of every failed revolution in history. Do they not get the irony?
The whole problem will be solved if the city refuses to enter the autonomous zone to pick up the trash. Just let them figure out how to 'autonomously' get rid of the heaping, stinking waste that humans produce without an infrastructure supported by tax paying, hard working people. The rats will come, then disease.
