The Rev. Michael Pfleger, a longtime crusader against gun violence who leads St. Sabina Church in Auburn Gresham, said it was “open season” last weekend in his neighborhood and others on the South and West sides.
“On Saturday and particularly Sunday, I heard people saying all over, ‘Hey, there’s no police anywhere, police ain’t doing nothing,’” Pfleger said.
“I sat and watched a store looted for over an hour,” he added. “No police came. I got in my car and drove around to some other places getting looted [and] didn’t see police anywhere.”

Known as one of the most gun violent cities in America, Chicago recently marked a new grim milestone with 18 homicides in a single day, officials said.
On Sunday, May 31, the Chicago Police Department responded to the most homicides in a 24-hour period, Max Kapustin, senior research director of the University of Chicago Crime Lab, confirmed to ABC News.
Chicago Police Superintendent David Brown said at a May 26 news conference that the violence marked the most shootings for a Memorial Day weekend that Chicago has seen since 2015.
MORE: 'We are all at risk,' says St. Louis mayor as string of fatal child shootings climbs to 9
He blamed the resurgence of gun violence on disputes between rival gangs, clashes involving the sale of illegal drugs and people "feeling restless after being cooped up for weeks" due to the coronavirus.

BLM and Antifa care about blacks killing blacks as much as the Soviets cared about the plight of the working class. They are both only tools to impose their totalitarian will on everyone.
The Left cannot deal with logic which is why they shut you up. They are psychopaths that will perform mental gymnastics and twisted logic to impose their will.
BLM and Antifa want to defund the police but they will replace it with their own "political enforcers". The Left are masters of language and euphemisms so here is an example of what we can expect to replace the police. In the French Revolution, the revolutionaries formed Committee of Public Safety, which is friendly, soft sounding name. However, tens of thousands met their end via the guillotine on orders from it.
We can expect a similar nice sounding name to replace our police and the same results if we don't oppose this.

Police departments who support criminal behaviour needs to be defunded period. Theres too much corruption and racism in departments across the country
Disband the police and we won't be able to know how many murders there are, that's really the proper solution.
