Racism is not worse, it’s just being recorded now. That’s why more and more people are waking up that it still exists. It’s slowly improved, but there needs to be systemic change.

And America is one of the few countries that has so many races in large numbers, so many religions allowed open & free, so many political viewpoints etc. Most countries are just one race, one culture, 1-2 major religions.

I've been the distinct minority in a place. When I was in middle school I was one of the few Black kids in my middle school in what was at that time 95% White (there were more Black kids at my high school). I got bullied alot. It didn't help that there was a big redneck influence (confederate flags and all) where I was living.

As I've gotten older, I've learned that I have to be defiant sometimes. I have to consider this. I've have issues with fitting in. Some of the Black kids found me to be "lame" or "not cool" because I wasn't "Black enough". Some of the White kids just didn't like me. I've developed somewhat of a defiant mentality as a result. I've had to learn "do what you want, you don't fit in anyway". One of the reasons I see things the way I do. I'll go wherever I want because I can. I've realized I will likely run into people who will have a problem with me regardless. If I find I fit in just fine, great.

Yeah racism is worse. With more recordings of white people being provoked and who get defamed in the national media and fired, lots of recordings of unprovoked attacks of white people that barely make the news and don't receive equal condemnation, videos of white people even policemen defending themselves and being prosecuted for it.

The heart wants what the heart wants, regardless of the governmental politics. Change has already occurred; government and its politics are slow to catch up.

The superior race is the race for which there are no battles and no wars --- everyone else is mediocre.

I've dealt with not feeling welcomed where I lived. I've dealt with being the new guy, being the person who was different. I've been the person who struggled with fitting into the culture. That being said, I look at life like this. If there is something you want, somewhere you want to live, you have to stand up for yourself, show people "this is as much mine as it is yours because this is America".

Then one wonders why America is starting to look more and more like a failed state...

Reading this, I'm thinking you want those who are minorities to leave or stay on their side of the tracks. I can't think of any other reason why you would make such a statement.

Fact: Living in a poor black community puts one at higher risk of violent crimes.

When I taught in California, I used to notice the "quiet desperation" of immigrant Hispanic children forced to live in black neighborhoods. They were the ones who were anxious to absorb any knowledge that would help them escape to a better future away from their tormentors.
Agree, poor white communities aren't as violent and dangerous as poor black communities. Compared apples to apples it's still not equivalent. Also as a white person I'd rather be in the poor white community than the poor black community and so would many blacks, Hispanics and others. Much of the violent crime in a poor white community isn't even being committed by whites.

As a white person I'd rather be in a poor white community than any other poor community. I was once visiting a Hispanic community in New Mexico and that was a shady sketchy experience. Within just a few days time I was offered to buy drugs, drugged by a woman, set up to be jumped by a gang, challenged by a macho older guy, slapped by a hotheaded Indian girl etc. Some of them were nice and friendly though.

I happened to attend a majority black middle school for 2 years.

I can assure you that bullying was prevalent there as well.

I never said it wasn't prevalent. I was just giving a personal account of what I went through, in a certain context.
