I expect all these people to encourage the “protesting” of the death of a guy that resisted arrest and tased a cop in georgia, but then blow their load when law abiding citizens attend Trump rallies

If there's one thing COVID19 did, it was to illustrate the mind-boggling incompetence of Big Government bloated bureaucracies like the CDC. Critical months that could have been used to stop the pandemic was wasted when they refused to use the WHO tests that worked & were widely available, and then proved to be incapable of producing their own tests, and even less capable of processing tests. They actively shut down any labs that did private testing all the way into March, when they finally ALLOWED private industry to do what they should have encouraged from the beginning.

And since then, the CDC and our taxpayer-funded "experts" have continued to destroy what little credibility they had left. Dr. Fauci stated that “No, there’s no reason to be walking around with a mask" (and then reversed his advice). The Surgeon General also insisted that Americans shouldn't wear face masks because they were NOT EFFECTIVE - but at the same time, we need to save them for health care workers. And let's not even start on the political hit job against hydroxychloroquin, which is available in generic form (limiting the price gouging that Big Pharma wants) and that ORANGE MAN BAD had the audacity to mention.

A reminder that many people will no longer trust “healthy experts” now that they have acted more like activists. They did this to themselves

Liberals literally said in the other thread that no health experts endorsed the protests. As we can see that is no true

I agree that the response to the pandemic was mismanaged at the outset.

In fairness to the SG there is a problem with Americans not using masks properly.

The difficulty with hydroxychloroquine is that it did not live up to expectations for it. There may be benefit if it is used very early or in populations that have not yet been identified, but most people treated with it probably were going to get better anyway. The drug can have adverse effects on the heart, and so can the coronavirus. That may be why some people did worse with HCQ. I say this as someone who was anticipating that it would work.

Libs. Can you say with a straight face that protests should be allowed if social distancing is the goal?
