The Constitution - which was pretty darn racist when it was written - was amended during Reconstruction as the country rebuilt after the Civil War. But Congress did not have to destroy the entire system in order to do so.

Black people are saying racism is systemic - in the system - in education, justice, etc. I have to believe them, because I do not and cannot have those same experiences. Why can't we as a nation listen to them and figure out how these systems can be improved, not destroyed, in order to make the systems equitable for everyone.

Lemon clearly has a deep hatred of President Trump, and for white people in general. Remember his comment: "white men represent the biggest threat in the country"?

He is a true racist! But where is the outrage? Don Lemon should be forced to resign or be fired!

But in the Land of Liberal Groupthink that is CNN, he can exist with impunity.
AND...

I wonder if he's gonna settle out of court for that sexual assault

"Lemon offered a six-figure settlement before talks broke down and the formal complaint was filed, according to Hice.

“My life has essentially been on pause. He’s been stalling and he’s actually tried to have it thrown out twice but both times he was denied. It’s not going away,” Hice said. “He did this in front of a room full of people and they all saw what he did. He’s offered me a substantial amount of money to make this go away and I have denied it.”
