Everyone knows this and at least Biden would have the sense to resign early on and leave his V.P in charge. There is a chance he may even drop out out before the election and the V.P would run the democratic candidate herself.
I don't think running for the highest office it's smart to pick a candidate who knows he is demented but still has enough common sense to resign as soon as he is elected to allow someone qualified to fill the position.
Perhaps a reasonable short cut would have been to pick the best candidate to begin with and eliminate all of the games?
The democrat party is desperate and in shambles...

I'll take him any day with his so called dementia, hold up in his cellar. Simply a presidential figure. let all the presidents decisions be voted on. Way better than now with a crook, do as I want or I'll hold up funds to benefit me type of guy.

That doesn't mean they won't vote for him but it does make people wonder who would actually run the country and we need to know who will do that before the election, don't we ?

Biden has dementia but is not demented. Trump is demented. Yes someone with dementia can be demented and visa versa but in this case the above applies.
