I don't understand what their problem is beyond the desire to Virtue Signal how Woke they are. These people are ALL about image, plus many have mental health and alcohol and drug addiction problems so take what they say and do with a grain of salt.
Most of the movies today have already replaced White Male characters with Women and/or Minorities in traditionally male roles. Even remakes are doing that. So what's the problem? Hollywood is already a total PC, SJW, WOKE-FEST and the product has greatly suffered because of it.

That’s why I prefer older movies. There are thousands of great ones. Hollywood very rarely makes anything worth watching anymore. PC garbage. Cut my cable last year.

It gets pretty ridiculous when you have a 5'4" 105 pound woman beating up all these 6' + trained killers when she's doesn't even have superhero powers.
I’m not even sure why they bother putting it on TV anymore, just let them have their private ceremony where they pat each other on the back and give each other awards. Most of the public couldn’t care less.
Why not? White people have been starring in movies in China, India, and the Middle East since Hollywood began. When casting there are a couple of things to thing about - does ethnicity matter for this character - is it a core part of understanding the character and how the move through the world or not. And for lots of roles it doesn't really matter. As long as the actor can embody the core personality traits and aura - race should be irrelevant.

Sure..remake GWTW and have have the races reversed...White actors as slaves and Black actors as the owners.
It's a good diversion from rampant sexual abuse and general mistreatment of all "non-talent" on the set and in the office.
