Emmanuel Quinones, 25, is charged with making interstate threats. Thankfully, he was quickly arrested before he could injure or kill anyone.

What are the chances this guy could have even gotten near Trump?! SLIM TO NONE.

This reminds me of another young guy that was arrested last year, in OH I believe, he was 21 or 22, didnt have a job, didnt have a car, lived at home with parents, but when he said he was going to shoot up Congress or something stupid like that, he was quickly arrested, and police were praised for stopping the threat...

IN reality, how much of a threat was he? (he had no job, no weapon, no money, no car), I doubt he could have even made the trip to DC, let alone pull off what he was threatening to do.

It doesn't matter cuz if this idiot, by a freak lining up of Mars, Venus and Jupiter, had a chance of executing his threat, than there will be hell to pay... There is no room for political violence OR the threat of political violence from either the Left or Right.

You want some attention, say stupid things like this and you will get tons of attention and some jail time to give you a chance to think about being stupid.

Why are people so willing to give people a pass on things like this AND act so shocked when somebody actually carries out one of these threats?

How many times has someone SUCCESSFULLY carried out something like this though?

The last assassination attempt I can think of was on Reagan, I cannot think of ANY incidents of someone successfully 'shooting up' Congress or the Senate, (Im fairly sure this has never happened actually).

Point is, many threats can be made...but whether they are credible or not, is something else entirely.

I wonder !!! Was he a republican on the fence and lost his balance ?

If only someone would have intervened earlier !!! Could have gave him free tickets to a Sen. Romney rally where he could rub elbows with the two others in attendance !!!

Here's one obvious one. Shot 5 Congressmen in the Capitol.

And, of course, there was the shooter who attacked the Republicans at their softball practice recently and seriously wounded Rep. Scalise.

Gabby Giffords was shot.
