As far as I'm concerned one of the things it means is judging a product by the race of those who own the company that produced it rather than by the quality of the product itself.
What's next?
Demanding that customers buy 15% black owned products in order to shop there?

If there's enough pressure I assume the owners will take notice. If not, the market will sort it out.

It is sort of what the USSR was doing. In order to move less in demand products, like pickled garlic, to buy eggs a person was forced to buy the pickled garlic also.
Part of me really wonders what the Hispanic and Asian communities are thinking as they live here with us and watch this play out. Those two groups of people have received comparatively little help and have complained relatively little as well, other than some complaints from Hispanics about ICE raids. For the most part, those groups came to the U.S., have generally worked hard and tried to make it here without demands and concessions from the party/parties in power. Some of them truly have made it and are living a better life because the U.S. does have more opportunities than their home countries. Do you think they look at this and think it is nuts or do you think they are sympathetic to BLM?
