The Taliban blew up the ancient Buddha statue in Afghanistan, ISIS destroyed priceless Assyrian artifacts in Iraq, they destroyed priceless statues from ancient Palmyra in Syria, and now Antifa, the American Taliban, is doing the same here.

The young people (somewhere in their teens-to-early 20s) need to be identified by local authorities and charged for the crime, as this is indeed a crime. You can't just choose to destroy public property; you have to work to lawfully have it removed by local officials through political and social pressure. These kids need to understand that there are consequences to their actions.

It's absolutely disgusting how you're defending the people who tore down that statue. It tells the entire City-Data world that you have no respect for our country, our founding principles, the rule of law and all that is decent.
Tell me, do you disagree with the Declaration of Independence? Do you think it's trash? Or do you recognize that it's one of the most important political documents ever written?
You're so caught up in defending criminals that you're COMPLETELY missing the bigger picture. I don't think you hate freedom. I don't think you hate America. I do think that you're not seeing what's happening, though, and you're supporting people who LITERALLY want the entire system to collapse. If that's not the end result you're looking for, then you should stop propping these people up and making excuses for them. If it IS what you want, you should be direct about it and let us know so we all have a better understanding of your position.
