If there's a guy who's doing a p1$$-poor job at work, all he has to do is tell his boss he's gay, or trans-whatever. Then he's automatically protected against being fired for any reason.
Homosexuality is a sin in both the old and new testaments. It was then and it still is now.
That being said, who really wants to see people fired from their jobs solely because they are homosexual? I am not defending the SCOTUS decision with this question. Just asking: Is this by itself really a problem?
Now if someone is obsessed with sex and they act out in a way that is obnoxious and embarrassing, that would be a good reason to fire someone. And we are not talking about churches, synagogues or religious institutions now either.
I am a Christian and I cannot ever recall seeing anyone get fired from a job solely because of this. Nor can I recall anyone wanting to fire homosexuals solely because they are homosexuals.
I really do not think this is a thing, broadly speaking. Again, there are other reasons to be critical of the SCOTUS decision and I am not defending it here. I am just trying to look at the decision that was made and ask how the employment prospects for homosexuals will be altered because of this decision. Unless I am mistaken, I do not believe that they will, generally speaking.
I don't believe that ever happened, there would always be other reasons, but even if it ever did that's just simply the right of freedom of conscience and association and these should be paramount. Then there is the matter in which this came from a ruling a Court bastardizing our laws and constitution. So what this did was falsely assume homosexuals were a victim and heterosexuals are the victimizers. But for all we know and I believe it to be true it is homosexuals committing the discrimination.
this ruling discriminates against people, women who loose track events to insane\lying males, women who have to go to the bathroom with males, this ruling is evil and those supporting it are too.
Discrimination against people solely on the basis of who they love is disgusting and those who would put up with it are backward and intolerant.
The vast majority of the American people have been on the same page as this ruling for quite some time.
It is a legal marriage in terms of the law. Whatever your religious definition is is between you and your preferred deity.
If the SCOTUS wants to rule unanimously that the moon is made out of green cheese, that will not make that so either. Marriage is between a man and a woman. Whatever it is that the homosexuals think they are doing is "Marriage" in name only.

Nothing in this ruling forces anyone to hire anyone from any group of people. They just cannot tell the guy in a dress that he will not get the job because he is a guy in a dress.

Your opinion on the matter carries no weight in terms of national policy definitions, unlike their ruling.

Yeah exactly and just try to tell your boss you're heterosexual and see how much that helps protect you from termination. But supposedly, we have equal protection now .
Try suing your choice of the ~3700 gods that humans invented in the ~6000 years of recorded history, after all, surely one of those all-knowing entities created you in his/her image. Perhaps the world court in the Hague would hear your case, give it a try, show us the way.

You do not have to hire anyone. But if you hire them, you have to find another reason to fire them than their sexual proclivities.
