Despite the claims that “the Left” or “Leftists” are taking over the United States, it just isn’t true. In fact, the Left is dead in America.
Sure, we have a bunch of brainwashed “woke” college kids with sociology degrees protesting and throwing tantrums. That’s it.
We don’t have the viable organized labor movement that defined the traditional Left for decades. There is no viable movement to challenge the power of Big Business. Bernie Sanders was close, but look what happened to him: he was crushed (twice) by the Democratic establishment. It’s pretty clear the Democrats are actually a center right pro-business anti-consumer anti-worker party. And then we have the Republicans, which are an unholy coalition of Ayn Rand worshipping sociopaths, Christian theocrats, and white nationalists.
The Left is dead. And so we continue our drift toward Third World status: a few individuals controlling half the wealth, using said wealth to buy the politicians.

Yet you have no problem labeling all Republicans as racist.
If the Democrats are far left then what do you call actual communists? Democrats aren’t advocating for an end to private property or the government taking ownership of business(but Republicans delivered some with the bailouts). Most of their social issues fit into the liberty narrative. There is no great divide among mainstream Americans. There are more independents than Republicans or Democrats.
