No one here wants another shut down. If you want your state to shut down again, by all means go ahead. We will enjoy life close to normal as possible.

Florida is also taking action. Miami & Ft Lauderdale area never even had a chance to open bars since the 1st shut-down, and now they are staying shut, and the Mayors and Governor are saying they will punish businesses which don't follow the mask mandates and other rules.

There are plenty of bars open, they just need to serve food. I have been to many of them, even sitting at the bar with people in stools next to me.

Bars are closed. If they are open, they are violating the rules, and DeSantis & Mayors say they will crack down, even close down businesses for violations (temporary closures). There is a difference between a bar and a restaurant. Restaurants are partially open.

It has to do if they have a license to sell food or not. See article: https://www.miaminewtimes.com/restau...arent-11642315

Yes, there are legal definitions for it, and the rules are applied based on those definitions. There are plenty of bars which have been closed for months.

From your article:

Late the previous day, the city manager had amended Miami's emergency coronavirus order to specifically exclude "bars, taverns, pubs, night clubs, banquet halls, cocktail lounges, cabarets, and breweries (collectively, 'Alcohol Service Establishments')."

"It basically effectively shuts us down,"

That's amazing! Riots and Looting don't cause COVID but restaurants do!

It’s truly amazing, those ingenious protestors, arsonists, looters, anarchists, and autonomous zones all have the vaccine. Right now, there’s a bunch of people with vaccines tearing down a statue.

Please share the vaccine liberals!

Are you attempting to ignore all of the increase in gatherings outside of protest? Like Memorial Day weekend, increased bar and restaurant capacities, beaches reopening? Total up all those interactions and it will dwarf all the protest, riots and whatever else you can throw together
