Strangely they are also doing this with native Americans who will soon be relegated to the dust bin of history, they will then once again claim racism for excluding them.
The left is truly insane.
Best take that black chef off the packaging for Cream of Wheat, too !

Because there are obviously no black restaurant cooks or chefs !

They didn't seem to be offended by her being "used" in advertising. They seem quite proud of her in fact.

But what would they know? They're just the African American Registry. Obviously a bunch of racists.

Companies are free (as always) to use the marketing strategies they feel are most representative of the values they want to be associated with. Feel free to not support those companies. It isn't difficult nor is it anything new or "fascist".

And, as a previous poster pointed out, the thread title is not just misleading, it's a flat out lie in order to get conservative blood boiling. Seems to have worked.

Why was my post deleted? It was on topic, thoughtful, and non-inflammatory - unlike some of the others left on here in this thread.

Am I being censored

This kind of thing has been going on for a long time.

The weird part is the child character in the story of Sambo is not even African or African American. He is Indian. I mean, it's about a boy outsmarting a TIGER.

Poor dear. Takes the time to come to a topic, to pretend indifference over everyone else being mad, yet she's the one calling names.

The 21st century book burning. How many book burnings throughout history have we had? Do we even know our real history with the way extremist groups like modern progressives seek to revise it? Will we be doomed to repeat the same mistakes over and over because we never learn? Do progressives think censoring everything is going to make it go away? Did it work for the religious right back in the 1980's when they tried it? I find it fascinating the the people who support censorship and shuttering our free speech went from being conservatives to being liberals over the course of the last 40 years.

There was a brief period from the mid 90's to the mid to late 2000's when neither side was particularly apt to want to censor things and it showed by the popular media at the time (the "attitude" era) Gayness was accepted but the gays themselves weren't such snowflakes about having a joke or two thrown around about it. It was also the wild west days of the internet before corporations took it over. These days people go out of their way to find reasons to get offended. Ah well, it is what it is. I observe with curiosity what will happen to our culture the next 10 years.
