No, I like that because it takes politics out of it as much as is possible. But even if it was only because I liked the ruling, that's an infinity better take on it than yet another imagined conspiracy theory.

Kind of like Eisenhower appointing Earl Warren, the Republican Governor of California, hoping he'd be a conservative voice and then gets Brown vs. the Board of Education. Surprise, surprise!

They just said Trump didn’t give a good enough reason. Trump should just reach out to Justice Roberts and they should work on what a good enough reason would be.

Horrible news.

...this is just going to increase the flow of children that are coming into the United States unlawfully. This is giving a license for people to keep smuggling children. It's saying if you're a child, immigration laws don't matter. Bring your whole family.

This will be abused, and worsen the problem of illegal immigration.

Default DACA stays, per SCOTUS

The DACA recipients are English speakers who grew up in America. They consider themselves to be Americans and they behave as Americans.

The problem is wild swings then. I would like to see some sort of system that assures a max 6-3 swing either way. I do not know how such a system would work.

Yes, I heard that the Trump Administration memo on the matter did not provide adequate reasoning to the Court behind the request for rescinding DACA. I think DACA will be back before SCOTUS in a couple more years based on more detailed documentation.
